Go for a bike ride as a family
Le Lavandou offers 12 km of coastline to be explored by bike, as a family or with friends, thanks to cycle paths long the coastline.
A sea view will accompany your bike rides.
You’ll appreciate the dense vegetation for the shade it provides you on days when the temperature exceeds 25 degrees 😉
From the Tourist Office, we invite you to take the road along the beach, from the town centre to the Soleil car park, where you turn right to the Kronberg roundabout, then take the first right onto Rue des Pierres Précieuses.
Continue to the junction, turn right, then several metres further on, take the left lane towards Avenue du Général de Gaulle, the main shopping road in the town centre.
Proceed to the “1ère D.F.L” roundabout, and take the second exit, where you’ll see the “MMA” insurance office.
You’re there! On your right, 8 km of secure cycle paths along the sea await you, from Le Lavandou to Pramousquier.

The 92 km of specially created cycle paths stretch all over the Var , and mostly follow the former Provencal railway track.

Getting out of your comfort zone and doing a bit of climbing doesn’t scare you?
Then Le Lavandou is an ideal departure point for you. Many cycle tourist routes await you.
Have you heard of the Route des Crêtes?
This 19 km trail overlooks the whole of Le Lavandou‘s coastline, going from
Bormes-les-Mimosas and taking you as far as Rayol while delighting you with stunning views.
This Route des Crêtes is a uniquely beautiful and picturesque way to explore the Massif des Maures.
If you are feeling fit, take your bike (road bike or mountain bike) and leave Le Lavandou in the direction of the village of Bormes-les-Mimosas. You can also enjoy this route on an electric bike. Then, continue after the village of Bormes.
The route climbs again, so pedal to the metal, don’t give up!
All your efforts will be rewarded once you’re on the Route des Crêtes. It is located on your right.
It is at this moment, arriving on the plateau, that you’ll experience a complete change of scenery.
