Château de Bregançon is situated in a conservation area at the center of the Côtes de Provence region. This huge 17th century estate was the farm of the Marquisat of Brégançon whose fief was the fort (currently a presidential residence). In 2011 at the instigation of Jean-François Tezenas and of his son Olivier, today in charge of the Domaine, a new wine making cellar was built, combining state of the art architecture and technology, and perfectly integrating into the Bregançon conservation area.
The land is composed of siliceous-clay soil, and benefits from a sunny maritime microclimate. The 50 hectares of southernly exposed vineyards are composed of grape varieties such as : Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle, Ugni-Blanc and Sémillon.
