Hôtel des Arts – Centre d’Art TPM

Located in the heart of the city of Toulon and built at the beginning of the 20th century, this former seat of the sub-prefecture, which became the Hôtel de la Présidence du Conseil général du Var, now houses an art centre.

About

The building dates from 1898. Former Hôtel de Sous-Préfecture, designed by departmental architect Jules Roustan.
It became the Hôtel des Arts in 1979.
New modern facade was colored by artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet in 2020 - 2021.

Every day throughout the year between 11 am and 6 pm.
Closed on Monday.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.

  • Entrance from rue Saunier (rear of building). Elevator to second floor. It's best to let the museum know you're coming. There are no special facilities for the hearing, mentally or visually impaired, but a mediator is trained to welcome disabled groups and adapt the visit to their needs.
