Circuit des Baisses

From the town centre, head towards the Espace Jean Villar and park in the Liberté car park.
At the car park, take the stairs at the bottom and turn left, taking the azimuth 140.
Turn right onto the Chemin de Jean Court for about 400 metres, following the YELLOW markings on the tarmac road to reach a crow's nest with a large oak tree in the centre.
Straight ahead the road rises slightly, and runs alongside villas.
At 150 metres, turn right and 50 metres further down turn left at hill 161.
Raise azimuth 90 to join the Vallon de Beaussénas.
Continue for about 3 km, leaving the Ravanas and Trayas tracks on the right to reach a ford.
Turn completely left (hairpin) and follow the track which rises under the oaks to reach hill 128, the place called Gazelle.
Take the Issemble track, 1st right, for 4 km (depending on the season, you may be able to see the Aurélie and Issemble springs signposted along the way).
Reach the Castellas at hill 252, crossroads with the Chaumadou track which you must follow to the right, azimuth 250 until hill 231, place called Baisse de La Sorbière, reached after about ½ hour.
Stay on the main track and continue to the place called Baïsse des Contes.
At the crossroads, leave the Piste de La Baïsse des Contes on the left, which passes a concrete tank (60m3).
Raise azimuth 310 and continue on the Chaumadou track.
After about 500 metres, leave the main track to take a path on the right that climbs towards a high voltage pylon (panorama of the Village of Pierrefeu) at a place called "sommet de La Luquette".
At the foot of the pylon, take a steep path down to the Traversier stream at Clos de Lette.
Cross a ford, then 20 metres further on, on the right, you will find the tarmac road you took at the start, which leads to the Liberté car park, at hill 61.
