Coastal path: Port Miramar / Les salins d’Hyères

Accessible walk along the old salt marshes.

About

This easy trail invites you to discover the protected natural area of the Salins d'Hyères, a veritable sanctuary where many water birds find refuge.

The trail starts at the western end of Plage Miramar and follows yellow markers along the edge of this unspoilt environment.
Along the way, you can spot pink flamingos, stilts, terns and other migratory birds, while admiring the typical vegetation such as glasswort. What's more, the trail offers exceptional views of the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros from the coastline.
