Children will delight to share these unique moments with you, observing the flora and fauna. Little fish, wrasses, combers, crabs, octopus, starfish will come to meet you, even touch you, and you can admire them in their natural setting.
The water is clear, so it is easy to appreciate them, swimming along the rocks in these little coves with fine sand that Le Lavandou offers you over 12 km of coastline.
– THE PORT-CROS UNDERWATER TRAIL –
After 35 minutes walk from the Port of Port-Cros, you’ll arrive at Palud beach.
The underwater trail is an original way of diving in the clear waters of the island of Port-Cros to explore the underwater flora and fauna with your mask and snorkel.
Port-Cros underwater trail is on the surface (although the site goes down up to 10 metres depth), and can therefore be experienced by anyone who can swim and use a mask, snorkel and flippers.

– DOMAINE DU RAYOL UNDERWATER TRAIL –
This aquatic excursion allows you to discover all the riches of the underwater world.
This trail, to be done in complete safety with a state-certified instructor, will captivate you!
You will meet: molluscs, wrasses, starfish, combes, labrus, sea bream and shoals of salemas in the Posidonia; flatfish and sea cucumbers on the sandy bed; seabream, seabass and barracudas in open water; sea anemones, octopus, Mediterranean chromis… in the crevices of the rocky bottom.

Le Lavandou, located opposite the îles d’or – Le Levant and Port-Cros –, is just a short distance from scuba diving sites such as Gabinière, or other mythical shipwrecks such as the Donator, Le Grec, la Barge aux Congres, le Rubis, le Spahis, le Wildcat, le Hellcat, some of which are known worldwide.
